This is attempt number fourteen thousand two hundred seventy and five in creating a home page for me. Welcome. You can find a brief CV and information about the three four dominating professional things in my life (Network Management, Ticketing & Helpdesk, Project & People Management) here. Above those things is “IT”, information technology – that’s what I am doing: I make IT work 
I have started businesses with Open Source Software and used Linux since 0.99pl12 (Slackware first, then Debian, for the Desktop I prefer Ubuntu but I do have a Mac as well). I think that the real strength of Open Source is the level of documentation(!), the reliability and well..the openness. If you ever tried to integrate towards a closed system and guess-reverse-engineered an Access “Database” you know what I mean. Especially OpenNMS has an amazing quality and quality assurance in place, unmatched by many “commercial” products.
